Located on W. Main Street in Mountainair, the Shaffer Hotel is a paranormal hot spot in the state of New Mexico. Many people are put off by the hotel because of the swastikas carved into the facade, although the building was constructed long before World War II when the symbol became known for what it's known for. Some haunting reports at the hotel include flashing lights and strange shapes and shadows moving around inside. One thing's for sure, if you're going to stay the night, be prepared!
