The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is located in a historic Santa Fe Railroad depot that is rumored to be haunted by at least three ghosts. Two of the ghosts are believed to be men and the third is a woman that wears an old-fashioned dress. Witnesses have reported hearing disembodied voices when no one is around.

Located in Roswell, the Southeast New Mexico Historical Society features a museum that houses war paraphernalia and exhibits from the past. The location is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a young soldier who was supposedly held captive as a prisoner of war.
